Meet Adi and Redom
The nerds who run this place.
We sat down to write this and realized - how do you capture 20+ years of property investing experience in a few paragraphs? Maybe by starting with who we are.
Redom’s an ex-economist turned mortgage broker, running one of the biggest teams in the country. I (Adi) started out as an engineer, then moved into product management and commercial analytics. We both come from humble, middle-class migrant families who arrived in Australia with very little. Investing changed our lives - and now, we help others achieve the same financial freedom we enjoy today.
We teamed up because we’re obsessed with helping people invest smarter. It’s why our podcast never holds anything back. While others keep their insights locked away, we openly share where and why we’re buying.
Why? Because spotting the best markets before they hit the mainstream is our edge. And because we’ve built a deep network that helps us secure high-performing assets others don’t even know exist.

I got my start on LinkedIn, writing stories about how my clients were winning in property. Turns out, people liked them because I was one of the few that talked about the "why".
Property, to me, has always been about building choices, security, and freedom, and that's exactly how I guide our clients.
My partner & I have built a 10-property portfolio, but it's just a means to something bigger. My long-term vision is to run an animal sanctuary and help fund schools in India, where I was born. My mum’s an English teacher, and I’ve seen firsthand how she's transformed the lives of so many people. I want to be a part of that.
My folks are also my heroes. They sacrificed everything to bring my sister and me to Australia in 2000, leaving behind the world they knew so we could have a better future. Everything I do is, in some way, a reflection of that sacrifice - a way to make sure their hard work wasn’t for nothing.
Outside of property, my world revolves around the people I love. My niece, Mila, keeps me grounded, and Rona, my partner, has been by my side through every step of this crazy journey.
Alaya Property is a lot more than a business to me. I want to help thousands of people build the same freedom Rona and I enjoy today - so they can focus on what really matters.

I started my career as an economist, working with national-level data to understand how financial policies, interest rates, and government budgets shape the property market. But theory only takes you so far so I got into mortgage broking, where I built one of the biggest teams in Australia, helping thousands of clients secure finance and grow their portfolios.
Over the past 13 years, I’ve done the same for myself, building a successful property portfolio using the same fundamentals I share with my clients. Property has given my family security and freedom - the same things my parents worked so hard for when they brought us to Australia from Bangladesh with almost nothing.
Along the way, I realized how much noise, misinformation, and fear-mongering exists around property and finance. That’s why I started my podcast - to break things down simply, share real insights, and give people the tools to make confident decisions.
These days, life is a mix of family, finance, and finding time to clear my head. My wife, Zerlin, and our two little girls keep me on my toes, and they’re the reason I do any of this.
Now, I’m building Alaya Property with Adi because I know what’s possible. I’ve helped thousands of people on the lending side - now I want to help them on the purchasing side, making smarter investment decisions that set them up for the future.
